چکیده

Introduction: Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) naturally derived second generation of platelet concentrates, which has gained increasing awareness in recent years for regenerative procedures. This biologic additive is completely autologous, easy to prepare, minimal expense, and possesses prolonged growth factor release, together with several other advantages over traditionally prepared concentrates. However, reference data about potential effect some PRF components on hard soft tissue healing are still conflicting. The current article intends clarify the relevant advances physiological role certain wound 50 patients. In this study shows effective limited duration p value < 0.005.Conclusion: more progression than concentrators easily available, affordable inexpensive duration.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin Promotes an Accelerated Healing of Achilles Tendon When Compared to Platelet-Rich Plasma in Rat

BACKGROUND Autologous platelet concentrate has been used to improve the function and regeneration of injured tissues. Tendinopathies are common in clinical practice, although long-term treatment is required. On the basis of lead time, we compared the effect of using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in repairing rat Achilles tendon. METHODS The effectiveness of usi...

Experimental study on healing of long bone defects treated with fibrin membrane enriched with platelet growth factors and periosteal mesenchymal stem cells in rabbit: radiographical and histopathological evaluations

The present study was designed to evaluate the effects of platelet growth factors and periosteal mesenchymal stem cells on bone healing process, radiographically. Forty male White New Zealand rabbits in five equal groups were used in this study. A 2 mm full thickness bone defect was made in left radial bone of each animal. In group A (control) the defect was left with no medical intervention. I...

histopathological evaluation of the effect of platelet-rich fibrin on canine cutaneous incisional wound healing

platelets are a natural source of growth factors and cytokines that promote wound healing, and platelet-rich fibrin contains concentrated growth factors. growth factors in platelet-rich fibrin may promote wound repair. in this study the effect of platelet-rich fibrin was evaluated in a dog model of cutaneous incisional wounds using histology and semi-quantitative evaluation. a pair of ten-centi...
